Give a Truck – Our APU Canines need a truck.

AmazuluK9 Anti-Poaching Unit (formally known as ConservationK9) serves multiple reserves in Zululand.
The unit now regularly patrols over 50,000 hectares (125,000+ acres) of rugged bush terrain.

Unfortunately, the vehicle they rely upon to patrol and respond to incursions is no longer operational. AmazuluK9 is in dire need of a new patrol vehicle that can safely and reliably transport the canines. We need your help to buy a truck and modify it for canine transportation. Give a Truck!

Success!
Conservation K9 has been a tremendous success in preventing rhino poaching.

The Canine Unit has been tremendously successful.
We are beyond grateful to all the donors that made this project possible.

In the 15 months since the canines arrived on the reserves they patrol, only one rhino has been lost to poachers.

In the year prior to the canines being stationed in Zululand, the 3 reserves where the canines are now on daily patrol,
20 rhino were killed and 11 were injured by proachers.

The unit has been so incredibly effective at deterring poacher, the reserves added two new Malinois pups.
